Sage Ravensdale walked down the street in Chiswick, thumbs in her pockets. She'd just been to see her friend Joan, and she had the rest of the day to waste before class tomorrow. She turned the corner, and wham! Rubbing her nose (it didn't feel broken), Sage stepped back to look at what she'd run into. It was a police box. A police box that looked extremely out of place. The Doctor fiddled absentmindedly with the controls of the TARDIS. He'd just taken his companion, Connie--Former companion now, he reminded himself--back home to Dublin. She'd said she'd had enough danger and monsters for a lifetime, "but keep in touch, okay?" He didn't blame her, of course; danger and monsters were part of the daily schedule for him. Hah. 'Schedule'. As if, he thought. He just wished she'd have stayed at least a little longer.
